What does “zero-knowledge” actually mean?
Your secret values are encrypted in your browser with AES-256-GCM before they're sent to us. We store only ciphertext and never have access to your passphrase or plaintext values.
How does per-seat billing work?
You're billed for each active member in your team. Add or remove seats anytime — changes are prorated by Polar, our merchant of record.
What happens if I forget my passphrase?
At signup you download a one-time recovery code that can restore access. If you lose both your passphrase and recovery code, your secrets are unrecoverable — that's the tradeoff for true zero-knowledge.
Can I migrate from Doppler or Infisical?
Yes. Export your secrets to a .env file and paste or upload them during onboarding — they're encrypted client-side on import.
